In view of the upcoming redesign of the interface design for the Federal Network Agency, Telefónica has deliberately opted for the established industry solution PreHCM EMF. The decision underscores the company's commitment to implementing regulatory requirements early on and in a structured manner.
Thanks to the integration of PreHCM tools into Telefónica's existing IT system landscape, a seamless, cross-system process chain is being realized.
The close integration of PreHCM EMF with the proven PreHCM AMS application also ensures further standardization and automation in the location certification process—from the submission of applications to the notification of location commissioning to the Federal Network Agency.
The PreHCM tool suite supports the entire lifecycle of the site certification process – from preliminary assessment, application preparation, and processing of the approval notice to commissioning, occupational safety assessment, and finally decommissioning of a site.
If the Federal Network Agency (BNetzA) issues a site certificate in accordance with the Ordinance on the Verification Procedure for Limiting Electromagnetic Fields (BEMFV), it thereby confirms that the planned operation of the radio system will comply with the legal limits wherever people may be present.
The increasing digitization of administrative procedures is making a decisive contribution to simplifying and accelerating complex approval processes.
Standardized digital workflows reduce sources of error, shorten processing times, and make communication between network operators, service providers, and the Federal Network Agency significantly more efficient. At the same time, the automation of routine processes ensures that human resources can be deployed in a more targeted manner.
In a joint project with Telefónica lasting over a year, existing processes were specifically analyzed and optimized.
The solution design was closely aligned with the ideal user workflow to ensure efficient and practical implementation.
