Are you studying computer science or engineering, or planning to? Then take the opportunity to apply your knowledge directly. At PreHCM Services, we offer you the chance to get involved in real IT projects while you're still studying. This allows you to combine theory and practice in an ideal way – and gives you a real head start.
With a wide range of opportunities to combine your studies with work on real projects, you'll be one step ahead. This saves time, takes you to a new level of knowledge, and guarantees you a good start to your career – because the combination of theory and practice is unbeatable.
You can currently start a part-time degree program with us, write your semester or final thesis, or get involved as a working student, intern, or during the semester break.
With us, you will learn firsthand what it means to work on a project, produce valuable results, continuously match them to customer requirements, and ultimately create a successful product. And best of all, our projects are not only practical—they are relevant.
Did you know that our solutions helped ensure that mobile ticketing ran smoothly at the 2024 European Football Championship in Germany? Or that our applications are used by thousands of people every day?
We are currently working with TH Aschaffenburg on our participation in Campus Careers 2025. Are you studying at another university or distance learning university? No problem – just get in touch with us!
Immediately after completing his studies in computer science at Julius Maximilian University of Würzburg, Marcel joined PreHCM as an intern in software development—and stayed. Today, he is a permanent member of the team. In addition to his work as a developer, Marcel now also trains our apprentices and mentors our students.
Are you curious about what it's like to work for us? Then take a look at the interview with Marcel about getting started, everyday life, and working at PreHCM.
The study program with in-depth practical experience is a type of study program specially designed in Bavaria that enables full-time students not only to gain insights into practical work alongside theory, but also to actively participate in it. In total, students can work at PreHCM Services for up to 52 weeks during their studies, both during lecture-free periods and during the practical semester. Ideally, you will write your bachelor's thesis on a current issue within the scope of the project in which you are directly involved.
During your work, you will have a supervisor at your side who will support you in all matters and ensure that the content of your work is in line with your study plan.
As a well-coordinated team member, we will work with you to develop possible career paths with us after your studies.
As a working student, you can work for us regularly for up to 20 weeks during the lecture period, and you can also extend this period during the semester break if you wish. You will receive a standard salary, a working student contract, and you will be involved in our processes, i.e., you will actively work on one or more projects. The focus here is more on practical experience and direct collaboration within the team, which is why it may also be possible to work as a working student if you are studying in fields other than IT.
As with study-related work, you will have a supervisor at your side to assist you with any questions you may have. After you graduate, we look forward to exploring entry and development opportunities at PreHCM together with you.
We offer you the opportunity to write your thesis or term paper at PreHCM as part of your studies. You can either apply for one of the advertised topics or proactively suggest your own topic in the field of telecommunications regulation management and radio spectrum. Together, we will examine whether your topic can be integrated into an existing project or whether there are current issues that your proposal fits. During your thesis, you will actively participate in the relevant project, focusing on the central question of your work.
Depending on your progress in your studies and the type of student research project, you will either work with more independence or with more intensive support from your development team. Our goal is to give you the freedom you need to develop your results independently – with as much support as necessary, but as little as possible.
Would you like to find out whether studying IT is right for you? Or are you already in the middle of your studies—perhaps in computer science, engineering, or a related subject—and looking for a suitable internship? With us, you have the opportunity to gain initial insights into software development or to actively participate in projects for a longer period of time. You will be integrated into our team right from the start. A supervisor will be at your side to help you get started on the projects, adapt tasks to your level of knowledge, and support you with any questions you may have.
We will coordinate the start date, duration, and type of internship with you and your individual situation.
Are you studying computer science, engineering, or a related subject and want to earn some extra money during the semester break while gaining relevant practical experience in your field? Then a vacation job with us could be just the thing for you.
We offer you a varied vacation job where you can gain valuable practical experience and directly apply the knowledge you have acquired so far.
Depending on your availability, you will be actively involved in our IT projects. You will be integrated into a team according to your level of knowledge and will take on small programming tasks – with the support of your colleagues, of course.
We will coordinate the start date, duration, and scope of the vacation job with you and your individual situation.
